Celebrating National Nonprofit Day: Honoring the vital work of Home of the Innocents
As we celebrate National Nonprofit Day on August 17, we at Workrede are proud to honor the incredible contributions of our customer, Home of the Innocents. For more than 140 years, Home of the Innocents has been a pillar of compassion and support, providing care to vulnerable children and families in our community. Its unwavering dedication to improving lives aligns with our mission at Workrede — to empower those who serve others.
Through specialized facilities such as the Kosair for Kids Pediatric Complex Care Center, Home of the Innocents offers care to children with complex medical needs, ensuring they receive the attention and support they deserve. We are privileged to play a role in this vital work by enhancing communication within the care team.
As Sarah Carlock, RN, manager of support services at the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center, shared, “Workrede has helped facilitate open communication which allows the care team to better meet the needs of each resident we serve. It has permitted us to fill open shifts for direct care, have interdisciplinary conversations regarding individual resident needs, as well as receive organization-wide information to promote the quality care we strive to deliver each and every day.”
This exemplifies the impact that effective communication can have on improving care and outcomes for those in need. By ensuring that every member of the care team is informed, connected, and empowered, we help Home of the Innocents continue to deliver the exceptional care that makes such a difference in the lives of these children.
On this National Nonprofit Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to Home of the Innocents and all nonprofits dedicated to making the world a better place.
Your work is the heartbeat of our communities, and we are honored to support you in your mission!
